Job summary

Manor Church of England Academy in England seeks a School Technician (Science) to provide technical support to the Science team, including preparing materials, setting up equipment for class practical sessions and maintaining equipment for use.

The role, under the direction of the Director of Learning Science, coordinates the use of practical resources and assists the Science Department to ensure safe and smooth delivery of experiments.

• Experience supporting science labs and practical sessions.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the Science team, including preparing materials and setting up equipment for class practical sessions.
• Maintain and service laboratory equipment and manage resources for the Science Department.
• Coordinate use of practical resources under the Director of Learning Science and assist with health and safety procedures.
