The Emerald Group is seeking an experienced Scheme Actuary for a senior, visible role within a fast-growing consolidation proposition. The role is permanent and located in Manchester/Scotland, involving leadership of client engagements and delivering high-quality actuarial work for Trustees and sponsors.

Ideal candidates will be FIA/FFA qualified with Scheme Actuary certification, a strong track record with Trustee Boards, and excellent communication and project-management skills across multiple

Qualifications

• Act as Scheme Actuary and provide technical pension advice to Trustees.
• Deliver high quality actuarial calculations and written advice across multiple projects.
• Strong communication with Trustee Boards and sponsors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage client engagements with Trustee contacts at Entrust.
• Manage project planning, timescales and budgets.
• Ensure governance, risk management and compliance.
• Advise on UK DB pensions landscape and consolidator challenges.
