Job summary

The Emerald Group is seeking a part qualified or qualified pensions actuary to join a team of industry experts across the UK. You will own actuarial work for Trustee and Corporate clients, lead meetings, and mentor Early Careers colleagues.

They seek 3-5 years of DB pensions experience and a strong track record in relationship management, delivering high-quality client service while upholding professional standards.

Qualifications

• A 2:1 or above degree in a numerate or semi-numerate subject.
• Part-qualified and progressing through actuarial exams or a qualified actuary.
• 3-5 years of DB pensions experience and industry knowledge.
• Ability to deliver excellent client service to multiple clients and maintain relationships.

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of the delegation and production of actuarial work for nominated Trustee and Corporate clients.
• Leading or supporting client meetings and calls with external clients and internal teams.
• Developing colleagues on Early Careers programmes.
• Identifying and implementing service improvements while complying with standards.
