Job summary

SP Energy Networks is seeking a Senior Project Engineer - SCADA to maintain and develop SCADA assets across the transmission network, including approximately 180 systems with an annual budget of £1 million. The role sits in the Network Operations team serving Scotland and the North West of England.

• Significant experience with SCADA systems on power transmission networks.
• Knowledge of industry-standard SCADA protocols and protocol-emulation tools.
• Strong communication with technical teams, operations staff and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, develop and operate SCADA assets across the transmission network.
• Create SCADA configurations from implementation through testing and on-site commissioning.
• Provide operational fault response for SCADA faults and interface with the Operations Control Centre to optimise system performance.
• Deliver change-process performance to internal and external stakeholders while managing time and resources.
