Job summary

SP Energy Networks, part of the Iberdrola Group, is seeking a Senior Project Engineer - SCADA in Scotland to maintain and develop the OT landscape for the transmission network. You will own around 180 SCADA systems, manage a £1 million annual budget, and drive reliability through testing and on-site commissioning.

The role demands extensive SCADA experience on power networks, strong stakeholder communication, and the ability to deliver complex changes within RIIO timelines to support Scotland's

Qualifications

• Significant experience with SCADA systems on power transmission networks.
• Knowledge of industry-standard SCADA protocols and protocol-emulation tools.
• Ability to work with technical teams, operations staff and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, develop and operate SCADA assets across the transmission network.
• Create SCADA configurations from implementation through testing and commissioning.
• Provide operational fault response for SCADA faults and defects.
• Deliver change processes for internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute technical feedback to Major Projects for SCADA specifications.
• Coordinate with Transmission Network Operations to deliver tactical plans within RIIO period constraints.
