Job summary

KO2 Embedded Recruitment Solutions LTD seeks a Senior SCADA/Controls Engineer for a 6-month contract on critical infrastructure projects in Aberdeen, with remote options. You will develop and support the automated control system integrating generators, BESS, and wind, delivering reliable operation on a multi-source platform.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience developing SCADA for power generation or critical infrastructure.
Strong PLC/SCADA background with Beckhoff TwinCAT preferred.
Experience integrating generators, BESS, and wind into one control platform.

Responsibilities

Developing and supporting SCADA/EMS control logic integrating generators, BESS and wind into one automated system.
Coordinating automatic control across energy sources on a wind Enercon platform.
Building HMI screens, alarm management and historical data logging.
Supporting automatic transitions between generation sources, load management and diesel dispatch logic.
Working to a Functional Design Specification (FDS) and contributing to its development.
Liaising with site engineering teams on safe delivery of control changes.
