Zusammenfassung

Marine & Lawn Golf Hotels in Scotland is seeking a Sales Manager to grow business across our Scottish properties. You’ll build client relationships, develop new opportunities and deliver sales activity across accommodation, golf, weddings and events, reflecting each property’s character.

Working with General Managers, the Scotland Sales team and the European Revenue team, you’ll manage proposals, negotiate rates and contracts, and represent us at networking events to drive occupancy and revenue.

Qualifikationen

• At least three years’ experience in hotel sales, ideally in a sales management role.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and presentation skills.
• Experience developing client relationships, identifying and converting new business.
• Understanding of hotel market segments, sales, revenue and customer needs.
• Confidence negotiating rates, proposals and contracts.
• Commercial awareness, including an understanding of revenue management and account profitability.
• Strong organisation and follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities.
• A proactive approach to achieving targets and delivering sales plans.
• Knowledge of the Scottish market is preferable.
• Experience with Delphi, Opera and/or HMS is desirable.

Aufgaben

• Develop and deliver sales plans that support revenue and occupancy targets across the Scottish properties.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, including key local and national accounts.
• Identify new business opportunities across relevant market segments and actively develop a sales pipeline.
• Work with General Managers, wider M&L Scotland Sales team and the Revenue team to review demand, identify need periods and agree sales actions.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate rates and agree contracts within approved guidelines.
• Manage enquiries and sales activity through Delphi, Lanyon, Cvent and relevant RFP processes.
• Support the conversion of accommodation, golf, meetings, weddings, events, food and beverage opportunities.
• Arrange client visits and familiarisation experiences that bring each property’s setting and character to life.
• Work with colleagues across Marine & Lawn, Graduate and Global Accounts teams to build awareness and generate business.
• Monitor sales activity, pipeline and results, sharing updates with relevant stakeholders.
• Represent Marine & Lawn Golf Hotels at networking events and in client meetings.
• Deliver warm, thoughtful service throughout the sales process, helping clients create experiences their guests will remember.
