Job description

Senior Sales Manager (Individual contributor) – London 3x days per week.

This position is an individual contributor role, and you will not be managing a team.

The Company:

Leading global payments and banking-as-a-service platform for the digital economy. Through their API-driven technology, businesses can embed financial services into their products and create seamless user experiences to drive growth. Their platform consolidates multiple services across regions, providing access to accounts, FX, payments, acquiring, and Open Banking via a single API. They are licensed in the UK, Europe, Canada, and more, ensuring compliance and supporting business expansion.

How will you add value to their journey?

  • Identify high-potential clients and prospects; build a robust pipeline across various verticals.
  • Develop and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Collaborate within a dynamic new business team supported by other functions.
  • Pitch solutions to clients and co-develop tailored solutions.
  • Manage sales processes through to contract signing, including negotiations.
  • Engage in product and technical discussions with clients, coordinating with product and development teams.
  • Align delivery with product and engineering teams to allocate resources and influence the product roadmap.

Success Factors:

  • Understanding of the BAAS space and Embedded Finance needs.
  • At least 3-4 years of experience in payments, BAAS, Modern Treasury, FX, or SaaS industries.
  • Experience selling to verticals such as Gaming, Gambling, Crypto, Affiliate Marketing, Financial Institutions, Merchants, and Acquirers.
  • 7-10 years of sales/business development experience within SaaS.
  • Proven success in full sales cycle execution and hitting revenue targets.
  • Experience managing complex, high-value sales engagements.
  • Extensive industry contacts.
  • Deep understanding of the payments ecosystem, trends, and innovative solutions.
  • Ability to develop technical solutions and implementation strategies for diverse client needs.
  • Passion for the industry and ongoing interest in its development.
