Role Purpose
A well-established software solutions provider is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Executive to play a key role in its ambitious growth plans. The organisation offers industry-leading tools for day to day management, used globally across professional services sectors including consultancy, legal, and accounting. Following a recent acquisition, the company is entering an exciting new phase of development and innovation. This role is a strategic appointment to drive business expansion globally.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline with prospective clients, primarily across North America.
- Drive business growth by identifying and securing new clients, while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
- Promote software solutions by establishing contact, developing relationships, and recommending value-driven products and services.
- Consistently meet and exceed defined sales targets.
- Manage the full sales lifecycle from initial lead generation to deal closure.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activity within CRM tools such as Salesforce.
- Conduct product demonstrations and solution presentations, both in-person and virtually, with strong technical understanding to support proposals.
- Provide ongoing client support, offering insights and guidance to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
- Contribute to the success of the wider team by mentoring colleagues, sharing best practices, and supporting delivery.
- Identify opportunities for product enhancements by staying informed on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
- Uphold high standards of customer service and ensure alignment with company values and practices.
- Continuously improve knowledge and skills by engaging in professional development, industry events, and knowledge sharing.
Candidate Profile
Experience:
- Proven background in selling software or technology-based services.
- Demonstrable success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in working with or securing business from large professional services firms, ideally within the accountancy or consultancy sectors.
