Job summary

Jewson, part of Stark UK, is recruiting a Sales Advisor for our Southampton branch. This full-time role runs Mon-Fri 7:30-17:00, plus alternating Saturdays 08:00-12:00. You will drive lead generation, manage accounts, onboard new customers, and grow spend with existing clients.

You’ll engage customers with product demos, stay ahead on margins, and report on sales activities and insights to help the branch thrive.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sales-orientated mindset with a customer-first approach.
• Willingness to multi-skill across branches and yard duties.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities and pursue new customer accounts.
• Maintain and grow existing customer relationships; upsell/cross-sell solutions.
• Ensure onboarding and activation of new customers within 13 weeks.
• Drive profitability by improving margins and wallet share.
• Manage sales process from lead to close with accurate forecasting.
• Conduct regular customer visits, product demonstrations and presentations.
• Provide timely reports on sales activities, customer feedback and market insights.
