Job summary

Jewson in Truro is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Advisor to join our busy branch. You will build strong relationships with customers, understand their needs, and provide proactive product advice to ensure a positive shopping experience.

You’ll develop product knowledge across building materials, process orders on our in-house systems, and contribute to sales growth. A competitive salary, staff discount, life assurance, and generous holiday allowance await the right candidate.

Do you have a passion for sales? Are you based in the Truro area? We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Sales Advisor to join our thriving branch, in Truro. Our Senior Sales Advisor's are an important contributor to the teams shared success and an essential part of our customers positive experience with us. Here at Jewson, we know the trade. Hours: 7:00 - 16:30/07:30-17:00 Monday to Friday and every other Saturday morning 8am-12pm

WhatYou’llBe Doing

• Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions.
• Develop great relationships with new and existing Customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible.
• Get to know the local market to support plans for sales growth
• Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey.

Required Skills And Experience

• Proven background in Sales with a strong track record of exceeding sales targets.
• Previous experience in the construction materials supply industry is preferred.
• Self motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Strong communication and commercial awareness to be able to provide great customer service.
• Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey.
