Job summary

Capita plc in Warminster is seeking a Safety Risk Manager to shape safer decisions within the Army Collective Training System (ACTS). You will lead risk identification, assessment and governance across a complex, highly regulated environment, advising senior stakeholders and ensuring proper controls.

The role offers a permanent, hybrid working pattern (37.5 hours, 2–3 days on site) and security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

Proven experience in safety risk management, governance, assurance, or compliance within a regulated industry.
Understanding of internal controls, governance structures, and assurance processes.
Experience working with senior stakeholders and supporting governance decision-making.

Responsibilities

Provide risk management for force preparation and training delivery risks identified in ACTS.
Conduct PHI&A and Organisational Safety Assessments.
Create and manage the Safety Risk Register per JP 822/892/375.
Identify and manage safety risks against the safe system of work.
Oversee the Safety Risk Analyst and escalate major risks to stakeholders.
Champion the Army's training safety culture and ensure timely risk communication.
