Job summary

Capita is seeking a Safety Risk Manager to lead risk identification, assessment, and control within a national Army collective training programme. Hybrid role with in-person days in Warminster, requiring UK Security Clearance at BPSS level.

You will oversee safety risk management for training delivery, conduct PHI&A analyses, and maintain the Safety Risk Register in line with JSPs. Collaborative leadership across senior stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in safety risk management, governance, assurance, or compliance within a regulated industry.
• Understanding of internal controls, governance structures, and assurance processes.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and supporting governance decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Provide risk management for force preparation and training delivery risks.
• Conduct Functional Safety Analysis, PHI&A, and Organisational Safety Assessments.
• Create and manage the Safety Risk Register per Joint Service Publications.
• Identify and manage safety risks against the safe system of work.
• Provide oversight and line management of the Safety Risk Analyst.
