Job summary

Soho House in Brighton seeks a Safety and Operations Manager to ensure a safe, secure environment for guests, staff, and assets. You will drive compliance with safety, fire, and life safety requirements and promote a culture of performance and safe behaviour.

You will lead safety priorities, coordinate licensing conditions, monitor CCTV and access control, and manage BOH operations and budgeting while coordinating with contractors and regional safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a similar capacity.
• Experience in safety, health and security management within hospitality.
• Experience managing safety, fire and life safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for BOH operational matters and safety issues.
• Drive safety priorities, reduce risk exposure and communicate needs to managers.
• Lead security and maintenance programs, including licensing compliance and access control.
• Oversee BOH staffing, procurement, and cost control aligned to budget.
• Supervise third party contractors and monitor on-site works and costs.
• Collaborate with Regional Health and Safety to implement group initiatives.
• Prepare regular activity reports for GM and management team.
• Coordinate investigations into incidents involving guests or employees.
