Qualifications

• Master's degree in Safety Engineering or related field.
• 4–5+ years in Safety and Reliability engineering.
• Experience with FMEA or FTA and risk analysis.
• Experience with safety-critical or mission-critical systems.
• Knowledge of ISO 12100, ISO 13849, MIL-STD-882E, NATO AEP-4754, IEC 61508, ISO 3691.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Collaborative across engineering disciplines.
• Ability to document Safety and Reliability concepts.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead safety and reliability across system development programs.
• Define traceable safety and reliability requirements from concept to delivery.
• Conduct rigorous safety analyses (FMEA, FTA) to inform design.
• Lead safety reviews shaping technical decisions and culture of safety-by-design.
• Identify failure modes and develop mitigation strategies.
• Use data trends to improve system behavior and reliability.
• Develop maintenance strategies and support concepts.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
