Job summary

City of Doncaster Council is seeking an Advanced Practitioner (CDC) to work within the Doncaster Safeguarding Children Partnership. Based at Civic Building, Doncaster, the role focuses on supporting learning reviews, audits and policy development to inform strategic safeguarding activity.

You will work with the partnership manager to champion new approaches, provide strategic challenge to partner agencies, and help translate learning into practice improvements for children and families in

Qualifications

• Be a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Care England.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Safeguarding Partnership Manager to implement improvement plans.
• Provide strategic support to the business manager and Executive Board, influencing practice across partner agencies.
• Contribute to multi-agency safeguarding audits and learning reviews, analysing practice and developing recommendations.
• Contribute to the development and review of multi-agency safeguarding policies, procedures and guidance.
• Monitor and disseminate learning to improve frontline practice and outcomes.
