Leaders in Care is seeking a Senior Safeguarding Nurse (MASH) for the Children’s Social Care Front Door in Grimsby. The role focuses on health safeguarding expertise to support statutory decision-making at referrals, analysing complex information and contributing to multi-agency discussions to ensure timely safeguarding responses for children aged 0–18.

The post requires NHS/NMC registration, extensive safeguarding experience and the ability to work in a busy MASH environment.

Senior Safeguarding Nurse | MASH | Children's Social Care Front Door | £45 - £50 per hour

Join a well-established multi-agency safeguarding service as a Senior Safeguarding Nurse (MASH), working within the Children's Social Care Front Door in Grimsby. This is a specialist safeguarding opportunity for an experienced clinician looking to influence decisions and outcomes for children and young people aged 0 - 18.

Package & Contract

• £45 - £50 per hour.
• Initial 3-month agency contract.
• Potential extension to 6 months.
• 0.8 WTE, 4 days per week.
• Office based in Grimsby.
• ASAP start.

About the Role

Working within a busy Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), you will provide specialist health safeguarding expertise to support statutory decision-making at the point of referral.

The Senior Safeguarding Nurse (MASH) will analyse complex information from health and partner agencies, contribute to multi-agency discussions and help ensure children receive the right safeguarding response at the earliest opportunity.

• Able to work effectively within a fast-paced Children's Social Care Front Door environment.

This Senior Safeguarding Nurse (MASH) position would suit an experienced Safeguarding Nurse, Named Nurse, Specialist Safeguarding Nurse or senior clinician with strong children's safeguarding and multi-agency experience.
