Leaders in Care is seeking a Senior Safeguarding Nurse for the MASH within the Children’s Social Care Front Door in Grimsby. This role provides specialist health safeguarding expertise to support decision-making for children aged 0–18, analysing information from health and partner agencies to guide timely safeguarding responses.

The post involves contributing to multi-agency discussions, risk assessments, and ensuring safeguarding processes align with statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• Registered clinician with NMC or relevant professional registration.
• Significant safeguarding experience within children’s services.
• Strong ability to work across multiple agencies and sectors.

Senior Safeguarding Nurse | MASH | Children's Social Care Front Door | £35 - £40 per hour

Join a well-established multi-agency safeguarding service as a Senior Safeguarding Nurse (MASH), working within the Children's Social Care Front Door in Grimsby. This is a specialist safeguarding opportunity for an experienced clinician looking to influence decisions and outcomes for children and young people aged 0 - 18.

Package & Contract

• £35 - £40 per hour.
• Initial 3-month agency contract.
• Potential extension to 6 months.
• 0.8 WTE, 4 days per week.
• Office based in Grimsby.
• ASAP start.

About the Role

Working within a busy Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), you will provide specialist health safeguarding expertise to support statutory decision-making at the point of referral.

The Senior Safeguarding Nurse (MASH) will analyse complex information from health and partner agencies, contribute to multi-agency discussions and help ensure children receive the right safeguarding response at the earliest opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Experience with safeguarding assessments, reports and strategy discussions.
• Able to work effectively within a fast-paced Children's Social Care Front Door environment.
