Job summary

Leaders In Care Recruitment Ltd in Grimsby is seeking a Senior Safeguarding Nurse (MASH) to lead health safeguarding within the Childrens Social Care Front Door. You will analyze health information and support safeguarding decisions across partner agencies to ensure timely, right-path outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered clinician with NMC or relevant professional registration.
• Significant safeguarding experience across children and multi‑agency working.
• Strong understanding of Children's Social Care referral pathways and MASH processes.
• Experience analyzing safeguarding information and contributing to decisions.
• Experience with safeguarding assessments, reports and strategy discussions.

Responsibilities

• Act as the health representative within MASH and contribute to statutory safeguarding decision‑making.
• Gather, analyse and interpret health information from multiple providers.
• Contribute safeguarding expertise to multi‑agency discussions and strategy meetings.
• Work alongside social care, police, education and health professionals.
• Support referral outcomes and Children's Social Care Front Door decision‑making.
• Contribute to safeguarding assessments, reports and multi‑agency meetings.
• Support quality assurance, service improvement and safeguarding processes.
• Provide advice on safeguarding policies, procedures and best practice.
