Citi is hiring a senior engineer to lead and implement low-latency trading systems in a London-based team. You will craft event-sourced microservices in Java and/or Rust, integrating market data and back-testing utilities to support eTrading platforms.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated SME in Applications Development.
• Experience in algorithmic trading apps, preferably low latency.
• Knowledge of market data handling and time-series databases (KDB).
• Proven leadership and project management skills.
• Strong Java frameworks based on event sourcing; JVM/Linux mastery.

Responsabilités

• Hands-on 90% in Rust or Java codebase; build low-latency microservices.
• Lead integration of functions to meet goals and deploy new products.
• Analyze complex processes to define high-level solutions.
• Provide world-class Java low-latency development expertise.
• Mentor junior developers and less experienced colleagues.
• Communicate with senior leaders and external parties.
