Job summary

PKF Francis Clark, a leading South West firm, seeks a Supervising Senior or Assistant Manager to join its Agriculture team, servicing farming businesses, landed estates and rural enterprises.

You will lead farm and rural accounts, tax computations and VAT returns, oversee bookkeeping, and provide insightful financial planning for clients in a collaborative, growth‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• AAT/ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and tax compliance
• Methodical, accurate workstyle with attention to detail
• Experience servicing different business entities
• Experience using accounting and tax software
• Ability to work independently and provide excellent client service

Responsibilities

• Oversee annual farm and rural business accounts and tax computations
• Review personal and company tax computations and VAT returns
• Oversee client bookkeeping and preparation of forecasts
• Analyze income and expenditure to support decision making
• Identify financial, commercial and tax planning opportunities for clients
• Maintain up-to-date accounting records for clients
• Draft client correspondence and liaise with HMRC by phone/email
• Provide admin and setup services for clients
• Participate in meetings and client visits as needed
