Job summary

Clayton Legal is seeking an experienced Serious Injury Fee Earner/Solicitor - RTA (Claimant) at Grade C to join a highly regarded firm handling a quality caseload of serious injury matters and making a real difference to clients’ lives.

You will manage an RTA-based caseload up to £50,000, taking ownership from instruction to settlement, while delivering excellent client care and working with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or Fellow of CILEx with Grade C experience.
• Strong background in personal injury litigation.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional client care to individuals who have suffered traumatic injuries.
• Maintain regular contact with clients, including face-to-face meetings.
• Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team of experts including medical professionals, case managers, care experts, and counsel.
• Analyse evidence and advise on liability, causation, and quantum.
• Draft key legal documents such as witness statements, pleadings, and schedules of loss.
• Secure early interim payments and appropriate rehabilitation support.
• Progress claims efficiently to achieve the best possible settlement outcomes.
• Manage cases using a task-based case management system.
