Job summary

Fugro is seeking a Senior ROV Pilot Technician to support the Supervisor in maintaining and operating ROV systems across UK offshore projects, including North Sea, and Europe. You will lead maintenance, perform piloting and manipulation tasks, and ensure safe launch/recovery of ROVs while coordinating with project teams and clients.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong safety awareness, cross-discipline skills, and a proactive approach to training and development in challenging offshore

Qualifications

• Experience operating ROVs and manipulators offshore.
• Hands-on experience with various ROV systems and subsea tooling.
• Background in diverse subsea operations and adaptability to offshore environments.
• Strong safety awareness aligned with the company’s Safety Management System.
• Willingness to work on vessels and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities for ROV systems.
• Perform piloting and manipulator operations during subsea tasks.
• Execute safe launch and recovery procedures for the ROV system, including TMS and LARS operations.
• Support operational planning and safety documentation.
• Coordinate with offshore project teams and clients to ensure smooth operations.
