Senior ROV Pilot Technician - Offshore Operations

Job summary

ROVOP is expanding its offshore operations and seeks experienced ROV professionals for immediate mobilisations to support a diverse fleet worldwide. You will operate and pilot ROV systems, conduct launch and recovery, and ensure safety and compliance.

The role requires IMCA competence, BOSIET, offshore medical; GWO preferred; HV certification and seaman's certificates are advantageous; travel and offshore rotations apply.

Qualifications

• IMCA competence certificate required; BOSIET and offshore medical mandatory.
• GWO certification preferred for offshore roles.
• HV certification and seaman's documents are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Pilot ROVs and perform launch/recovery under guidance of the Shift Supervisor.
• Execute pre/post-dive checks and fault-finding with minimal supervision.
• Maintain constant communication with deck personnel during procedures.
• Draft written technical reports after each offshore cycle and keep records up to date.
• Mentor ROV trainees and assist with inventories and system maintenance.
