Job summary

Fugro is seeking an experienced ROV Supervisor to lead offshore ROV operations across UK and North Sea projects. You will manage subsea teams, mentor junior staff, and ensure data flow and equipment reliability in a dynamic offshore environment.

You will work with project managers, surveyors, and engineers to maintain safety standards and efficient operations while supporting diverse scopes from renewables to oil & gas. This role requires hands-on leadership at sea and on platforms.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as an ROV Supervisor at offshore worksites.
• In-depth knowledge of mobilisation, operation, and fault-finding procedures for work-class and eyeball ROVs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination in an offshore environment.
• Strong safety awareness, following the Safety Management System.
• Willingness to mentor Pilot Technicians and guide tasks.
• Willingness to work on vessels and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage the offshore team and oversee all subsea operations, maintenance tasks, and project planning activities.
• Supervise and perform maintenance and fault-finding on ROV systems and tooling.
• Lead and guide personnel in piloting tasks and the use of robotic arms for subsea operations.
• Oversee safe launch and recovery of the ROV system and offshore operations.
• Mentor and assess team members, maintain clear communication with offshore personnel, clients and onshore managers.
• Collaborate with project management to execute subsea tasks per scope and safety standards.
