Job summary

ROVOP is seeking experienced and skilled ROV professionals to support a diverse portfolio of long-term offshore projects across our expanding fleet of ROV systems worldwide. Immediate mobilisation to projects in 2026 is anticipated.

As an Offshore ROV Pilot Technician, you will be responsible for safety, pre- and post-dive checks, launch and recovery operations, fault finding, and maintaining clear communication with deck personnel under the direction of a shift supervisor.

• Observe safe working practices and adhere to electrical principles and industry standards.
• Complete pre- and post-dive checks and launch/recovery procedures.

Responsibilities

• Observe safe working practices and adhere to electrical principles and industry standards.
• Assist ROV Supervisor to problem solve and conduct project in a professional manner.
• Responsible for the completion of all pre and post dive checks.
• Undertake launch and recovery operations under direction of shift supervisor.
• Conduct fault finding under direction of senior crew members.
• Responsible for ensuring constant communication with nominated deck personnel during launch and recovery procedures.
• Undertakes training requirements to obtain competent senior ROV Pilot Technician status.
• Maintain system inventory and ensure all sub systems are fully understood.
