Job summary

British Airways is seeking a commercially-minded analyst to shape the future of its route network and drive profitability. You will analyse data, adjust schedules, and work with BA and industry partners to turn insights into decisions that expand the network and improve performance.

With opportunities to represent BA at international conferences, the role offers a clear pathway from Analyst to Senior Analyst, and a chance to influence strategic decisions at one of the world’s leading carriers.

Qualifications

• A numerate degree or equivalent analytical experience.
• Good knowledge of the BA network, airline economics and commercial drivers.
• Experience interpreting financial performance and business results.
• Ability to think strategically and translate ideas into practical plans.
• Understanding of airline revenue management, pricing or customer behaviour would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Shape regional and network strategies to support the future BA network.
• Optimise Heathrow and Gatwick schedules to drive commercial performance.
• Partner with teams across BA, IAG and our joint business airlines.
• Analyse network performance and provide clear, actionable insights.
• Present recommendations and business cases to senior stakeholders.
• Represent British Airways at industry events and conferences.
