Job summary

Coinbase in the United Kingdom seeks a Risk Manager to run the CBPL entity-wide risk framework and contribute to Global ORM programs. You will manage second-line-of-defence activities for operational, regulatory, outsourcing, and conduct risks while collaborating with global teams to strengthen risk posture.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, oversight of risk processes, and ensuring decisions align with UK regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of risk management experience in UK-regulated financial services.
• Practical experience applying UK regulatory frameworks to entity-level risk programs.
• Proven ability to design and implement risk processes (RCSAs, KRIs, incident management, scenario analysis).
• Ability to use generative AI responsibly with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own CBPL's entity-level risk framework, run RCSAs, incident management, KRI monitoring, and risk reporting.
• Lead 2LoD risk challenge on new products, change initiatives, and governance across CBPL.
• Drive CBPL outsourcing and third-party risk oversight, including intra-group arrangements and risk resilience.
• Build and enhance Coinbase's global Operational Risk Management framework and program areas.
• Partner with global product and operations teams to review products for operational-risk impacts.
