Senior Risk Engineer - Power & Renewables, London

This role offers an opportunity to make a difference in the insurance industry by supporting underwriting decisions with industry knowledge and technical insight. The Senior Risk Engineer will work closely with internal stakeholders and international teams to assess risks within the Power & Renewables sector.

Responsibilities include:

1. Reviewing and assessing technical underwriting information to support underwriting decisions for Property Damage, Business Interruption, and other coverages.
2. Enhancing risk assessment tools and quantification methods.
3. Supporting technology development, emerging risk analysis, and strategic growth of the Risk Engineering function.
4. Assisting claims professionals during claims management and learning processes.
5. Utilizing data to improve understanding of risks and causes of loss.
6. Participating in client visits and providing risk management services.
7. Collaborating with Risk Engineering teams and other internal departments.
8. Engaging in industry committees, conferences, and publishing articles.
9. Supporting colleagues' professional development and pursuing personal growth.

Qualifications & Capabilities:
