Job summary

St Leonard’s Hospice invites applications for Head of Risk & Compliance to lead governance, risk and assurance across the organisation. The role oversees risk registers, insurance, business continuity and readiness for inspections, reporting to the Director of Finance and Corporate Services.

The successful candidate will bring senior leadership in Health & Safety, risk or compliance, strong stakeholder influence, and experience managing budgets and external suppliers.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in Health & Safety, Risk or Compliance.
• Experience managing budgets, contracts and external suppliers.
• Excellent communication and ability to lead organisational change.

Responsibilities

• Lead the risk management framework, registers and assurance processes.
• Advise on Health & Safety, risk and hazard management.
• Ensure compliance with CQC fundamental standards and inspection readiness.
• Be primary contact for insurers and maintain Business Continuity Plan.
