Job summary

M&G plc, a leading UK financial services group, seeks a Senior Analyst to oversee Life non-financial risk and provide expert guidance on risk framework application and governance. You will partner with first-line risk teams and business stakeholders to challenge and improve processes.

You will lead RCSA and control assessments, design training, and deliver insight-driven risk analysis to support assurance planning across Life operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in Operational Risk, Non-financial Risk or related control disciplines in financial services.
• Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, governance processes and controls.
• Ability to assess framework outputs and identify areas needing challenge or escalation.
• Experience enabling training, governance support and guidance on Risk Frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day 2LOD oversight, challenge and Line 1 Risk engagement across Life business areas.
• Act as the primary Risk Framework contact for assigned business areas, supporting relationships with stakeholders.
• Serve as Life NFR SME for Risk Framework application and MetricStream usage.
• Lead framework oversight activities including review of RCSA, Issues, Events, KCAs and Process mappings.
• Support development of Risk Opinions and governance outputs.
