Job summary

M&G plc is seeking an experienced Senior Analyst to lead non-financial risk oversight across Life operations. You will act as the Life NFR SME for the Risk Framework, support RCSA reviews, and drive governance improvements in partnership with risk and compliance SMEs.

You will design training, deliver guidance on risk framework questions, and provide independent analysis to identify emerging risks and escalation needs within a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Essential experience in Operational Risk, Non-Financial Risk or related control disciplines in financial services.
• Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, governance and processes.
• Experience with risk management systems and MetricStream or similar platforms.
• Experience reviewing RCSA, Issues, Events and Risk Framework activities.
• Ability to interpret framework outputs and identify escalation needs.
• Proven business partnering and stakeholder management across first-line Risk teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day 2LOD oversight across Life business areas and third-party relationships.
• Act as primary Risk Framework contact for Life areas and first-line Risk teams.
• Serve as Life NFR SME for MetricStream and risk framework guidance.
• Oversee RCSA, Issues, Events, KCAs, Processes and Risk Acceptances with escalation where needed.
• Design and deliver Risk Framework training and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide independent analysis of risk information to identify emerging risks and themes.
