Job summary

M&G plc is seeking a Senior Analyst to provide dedicated non-financial risk oversight across the Life business. You will report to the Senior Risk Manager - Assurance, Insight & Automation and lead day-to-day 2LOD oversight, RCSA reviews and risk framework governance.

The role covers ensuring effective risk framework application, governance outputs, training design and engagement with risk and compliance SMEs, while supporting assurance reviews and control environment assessments.

Qualifications

• Experience in Operational Risk, Non-Financial Risk or Risk & Compliance within financial services.
• Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks, governance and processes.
• Expertise with risk frameworks, RCSA, Issues, Events and Risk Acceptances.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day 2LOD oversight across Life business areas and third-party relationships.
• Act as primary Risk Framework contact for assigned areas and support relationships with stakeholders.
• Provide Life NFR SME guidance for MetricStream and risk framework usage.
• Lead framework oversight activities including RCSA, Issues, Events and Risk Acceptances reviews.
• Design and deliver Risk Framework training and support enhancements.
• Provide analysis to identify emerging risks and escalation needs.
• Support assurance reviews, thematic assessments and control environment reviews.
