You'll proactively help drive simple to understand solutions that enhance our risk management support the delivery of more strategic objectives.

This role is perfect for someone with a good understanding of risk management and who is eager for a more dynamic and engaging position.

Principal Accountabilities

1. Support business-as-usual tasks (with the H/O Prudential Risk & Risk Frameworks) which include updating the Risk Management Framework, Risk Taxonomy, and Risk Appetite Statements, along with associated Key Risk Indicators.
2. Responsible for Policy Standards and maintaining the policy module within our risk management system.
3. Compile the monthly pack for the Risk Management Committee, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate production.
4. Take ownership to develop more meaningful MI and enhancements to the pack.
5. Provide data-driven insights and trend analysis on the bank's key risk metrics.
6. Present recommendations and insights to the H/O Prudential Risk & Risk Frameworks, the CRO, and potentially to committees.
7. Work closely with managers and contribute to ad-hoc projects to help the bank move forward at pace.
8. Work with stakeholders to ensure all policy and framework documents are updated according to review schedules and follow a standardized format.
9. Support the maturing of the bank's understanding and management of Business Sustainability Risks.
10. Coordinate an effective central horizon scanning tool and ensure it captures all regulatory and legal changes by engaging with appropriate stakeholders.
11. Be part of a team that ensures the bank's risk management framework is fit for purpose and evolves with organizational growth and complexity.
12. Provide an integrated view of the bank's risk profile through comprehensive reporting, trend analysis, emerging issues, and necessary actions.
13. Liaise with key risk owners to support embedding the three lines of defence model.

• Proven ability to interpret data using coding techniques and statistical modeling, translating outputs into clear reports for stakeholders.
• Experience or interest in working with AI to improve productivity safely.
