Job description

Eames Consulting is currently partnering with a leading international insurer on the appointment of a Senior Risk Analyst. This role will be based in London and supports the Risk Manager in driving robust risk advisory outcomes across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Risk Assessments & Monitoring: Lead and support periodic risk and control assessments, maintain the risk register, and escalate issues as needed to senior risk personnel.
  2. Incident & Emerging Risk Management: Coordinate investigation and reporting of risk events and emerging risks, including running working groups and contributing to governance reporting.
  3. Regulatory Awareness & Framework Maintenance: Monitor regulatory developments, ensure risk policies and procedures remain compliant and up-to-date, and support the overall Risk Management Framework.
  4. Reporting & Analysis Support: Assist with the creation of risk reports, stress/scenario testing, and contribute to financial risk analysis and validation activities where required.
  5. Project & Ad-Hoc Risk Activities: Support the Risk team with thematic reviews, regulatory gap analyses, and administrative or project-based tasks as directed by senior risk leaders.
Key Requirements:
  • 3+ years experience in enterprise or operational risk within the insurance market.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels and work within a team.
  • Broad understanding of the current risk management environment and awareness of key developments in risk management best practices.
