Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Housing Benefit Legislation and Local Council Tax Support Legislation.
• Knowledge of welfare benefits including subsidy.
• Working knowledge of a Revenues and Benefits System.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Council at legal hearings.
• Prepare court papers and evidence.
• Handle disputes and complaints.
• Support subsidy estimates and claims.
• Review policies for improvements.
• Process Direct Debit transmissions.
• Resolve complex queries from residents.
• Assist with annual billing procedures.
• Support system administration of NEC and Enterprise software.
