Job summary

Interpath is seeking an Associate Director/Director, Sales & Business Development to lead origination in the UK restructuring practice. This market-facing role requires building relationships with sponsors, lenders, boards and management teams to identify and win high-impact mandates.

You will leverage Interpath's network to mobilize cross-service capabilities, translate market insight into opportunities, and drive sustainable growth across geographies while maintaining a strong P&L orientation.

Qualifications

7+ years in restructuring advisory or related field.
Track record of business development and mandate origination.
Established network with sponsors, lenders, lawyers, funds.
Experience leading market-facing roles with P&L responsibility or targets.
Deep expertise in restructuring, distressed M&A, insolvency and complex debt situations.
Strong communication and presentation skills; articulate perspectives clearly.

Responsibilities

Target identification and analysis to develop Interpath view on distressed corporates across sectors.
Lead opportunity conversations with banks, funds, lawyers, sponsors; build networks.
Mobilise cross service‑line capabilities and sector expertise within Interpath to address clients’ needs.
Manage and drive internal opportunity pipeline.
