Job summary

Stonebridge Executive Search is partnering with a fast-growing Corporate Finance boutique launching a new Restructuring service line alongside its established Debt Advisory and M&A practices. They seek a senior professional to lead origination from day one, leveraging a well-developed network including insolvency practitioners, turnaround investors, lenders, PE sponsors and NEDs.

This is a true greenfield opportunity with genuine autonomy to shape the go-to-market strategy directly with the CEO,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 10+ years of experience within Restructuring Advisory or Special Situations.
• ACA, CA, ACCA or CA(SA) qualifications are essential.
• Strong communication and analytical skills and demonstrable experience within a UK focused Advisory practice.

Responsibilities

• Originate and win mandates independently, not just execute them.
• Lead the go-to-market strategy in partnership with the CEO.
• Utilise your network of insolvency practitioners, turnaround investors, lenders and sponsors.
• Drive growth with autonomy and minimal sign-off, shaping the firm’s restructuring practice.

We're working with a fast-growing, entrepreneurial Corporate Finance boutique that's launching a brand-new Restructuring service line alongside its established Debt Advisory and M&A practices — and they need someone to lead origination from day one.

This isn't a "join an established machine and wait your turn" role. It's for someone who's built a network over the years — insolvency practitioners, turnaround investors, lenders, PE sponsors, NEDs — and is ready to put that network to work for themselves, not just for a larger advisory P&L.
