Job summary

RSM UK in Birmingham is seeking an accomplished professional for its Restructuring Advisory team. You will lead insolvency and restructuring assignments, working with Partners and Directors to deliver practical, regulatory-compliant solutions across the UK.

The role offers exposure to Administrations, CVAs and Liquidations, together with client-facing responsibilities, case administration and continuous professional development within a supportive, flexible environment.

Qualifications

• ACCA / ACA (or equivalent) qualified, with experience in Restructuring Advisory or insolvency.
• Leading advisory and insolvency assignments with strong technical, analytical and report-writing skills.
• Experience analyzing and/or preparing financial information with a strong commercial outlook.
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills with client relationship experience.
• Excellent communication, organisation and time management; JIEB is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Managing and delivering insolvency and restructuring assignments in line with statutory, regulatory and firm procedures.
• Working closely with Partners, Directors and the wider Restructuring Advisory team to understand client challenges and develop appropriate solutions.
• Supporting formal insolvency procedures, with a focus on Administrations, CVAs and Liquidations.
• Analysing and challenging client information and supporting restructuring solutions, including accelerated M&A processes, creditor negotiations and debt restructuring.
• Managing key aspects of insolvency cases, including trading businesses, asset realisations, debt recovery and reporting to secured creditors.
• Supporting the wider team through case administration, compliance activities, training, knowledge sharing, networking and technical development.
