Qualifikationen

• BSc (Hons) in Clinical Physiology (Respiratory) or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in respiratory physiology.
• Desirable ARTP Practitioner Examination progress or completed, RCCP voluntary registration.

Aufgaben

• Proficient in performing and interpreting respiratory investigations within the department.
• Carry out full pulmonary function tests with bronchodilator therapy.
• Assess airways hyper-reactivity and airway inflammation.
• Supervise and interpret CPETs for congenital cardiac and respiratory patients.
• Interpret sleep investigations and advise on therapy (NIV/CPAP).
• Perform blood gas analysis and titrate oxygen or NIV as needed.
• Maintain equipment, QC/QA, and ensure regulatory standards are met.
