Job summary

NHS Professionals is recruiting a Respiratory Physiologist (Band 6) to join Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust at Wythenshawe Hospital in the Lung Function ward. You will perform advanced respiratory tests and CPET, working unsupervised and on rotation in the sleep laboratory as required.

The role offers flexible bank shifts, weekly pay, and access to NHSP academy development. Relevant senior physiologist experience and a BSc in Clinical Physiology are essential to provide expert patient

Qualifications

• Senior Physiologist experience
• Exposure to diagnostic test areas

Responsibilities

• Perform unsupervised complex procedures including histamine challenge and CPET
• Carry out sleep laboratory techniques on rotation
• Deputise for laboratory manager to maintain service function
• Support lung function investigations and diagnostics
