Job summary

George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust in Nuneaton is seeking a Specialist Respiratory Physiologist (NHS Band 6) to join the Physiological Sciences Department. This 37.5-hour-per-week role is permanent with a closing date in late October 2026.

The successful candidate will provide high-standard respiratory, sleep and oesophageal services for in-patients and out-patients, with ARTP Part 1 and 2 or equivalent and a minimum of two years post-qualification experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years post-qualification experience in a lung function and sleep setting.
• ARTP Part 1 and 2 qualification or equivalent.
• BSc (Hons) Clinical Physiology (Respiratory Function) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a broad range of respiratory, sleep and oesophageal investigations, interpretation and reporting.
• Act as an independent practitioner and deputise for the Lead Respiratory Physiologist as needed.
