Job summary

Senior Respiratory Physiologist opportunity in Exeter within the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. This internal vacancy supports lung function testing across our CDC Nightingale Hospital and Wonford sites.

You will train Physiology Assistants and trainees, undertake CPET, Flight Assessment and Sleep Service duties, and work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am–5pm, with opportunities to develop our CPET service.

Responsibilities

• Split between the CDC in the Nightingale Hospital and Wonford site for broader diagnostic tests.
• Perform routine lung function testing at the CDC and train/support Physiology Assistants and trainees.
• At Wonford participate in Flight Assessment, Mannitol Challenge Testing, and the Physiologist Led Sleep Service.
• Opportunity to train and participate in the new CPET service.
