SuperHiring’s Eastbourne children’s home is seeking a Senior Residential Support Worker to lead shifts, safeguard vulnerable young people and provide trauma-informed, nurturing care in a Good Ofsted environment.

You will support up to 4 young people aged 13-17 with learning disabilities and complex needs, helping them gain independence through structured activities and educational routines.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and young people in care settings.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and professional boundaries.
• Trauma-informed, child-centred approach to care.

Responsabilités

• Lead shift and support Team Leader to maintain safe, consistent care.
• Support and guide colleagues to uphold high standards of care.
• Ensure care plans, risk assessments and PBS strategies are followed.
• Promote engagement in education, routines and meaningful activities.
