Job summary

FirstPort is the UK’s leading residential property service provider, caring for 310,000 homes across England, Wales and Scotland. We are seeking a Development Manager to lead a large, multi-facility estate in London, ensuring high service standards, compliance and value for money.

You will drive health and safety, manage budgets, develop teams, and work with residents and contractors to deliver proactive, cost-effective management while maintaining welcoming communities.

Qualifications

• Experienced operational manager with large estate experience.
• Expert in health and safety and implementing new systems.
• Financially astute with budgeting and lease compliance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver effective service levels and act as the FirstPort representative to customers and developers.
• Identify and deliver on-going training needs and conduct reviews with direct reports to ensure KPIs and SLAs are met.
• Monitor performance, manage holidays and absences, and organise shift cover as required.
• Support cost control and review expenditures, including service charges and financial summaries.
