Chadwick Nott in Salisbury is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its busy Property Department. The role requires a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive with 5+ years' experience to manage a varied caseload and deliver high-quality conveyancing from instruction through to completion.

You will handle a range of matters including freehold/leasehold sales, remortgages, transfers of equity, and leasehold transactions, liaising with clients and lenders while ensuring

Qualifications

• 5+ years' residential conveyancing experience.
• Proven ability to manage a varied caseload independently.
• Strong knowledge of UK property law and Land Registry procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience using conveyancing case management systems (Leap).
• Commitment to high quality legal services and client care.

Responsibilities

• Manage full caseload of residential property matters from instruction to completion.
• Handle freehold and leasehold sales/purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and leasehold transactions.
• Draft and review contracts, leases and related documents; conduct title checks.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders and third parties; ensure AML/SRA/CQS compliance.
• Provide clear legal advice and maintain accurate case management records.
• Support business development and client retention where appropriate.
