Job summary

QED Legal Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its property team in Bolton. The role offers hybrid working (2/3 days WFH) and a competitive package dependent on experience.

You will manage a varied caseload, including new builds, sales and leasehold properties, while supervising and mentoring junior colleagues to maintain high service standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of residential property transactions.
• Ability to manage own caseload with minimal supervision.
• Experience supervising trainees and paralegals.
• Strong communication, organisational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.
• Handling complex freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Reviewing and reporting on title deeds for property purchases.
• Preparing and issuing contract documentation.
• Drafting mortgage reports and advising clients.
• Reviewing property searches and raising enquiries.
• Preparing completion statements and invoices.
• Managing exchange of contracts, completion and post-completion formalities.
• Supervising and mentoring trainees, paralegals and staff.
• Developing junior team members and maintaining high service standards.
