Job summary

QED Legal Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its property team in Bolton. The role combines managing a varied caseload with mentoring junior staff, while maintaining high standards of client service.

You will handle a range of conveyancing matters from instruction to completion, including complex sales and purchases, while working in a hybrid setup with 2–3 days of remote work per week.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of residential conveyancing processes and titles.
• Ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision.
• Experience supervising trainees, paralegals or admins.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Professional, proactive and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.
• Handling complex freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Reviewing and reporting on title in relation to property purchases.
• Drafting contract documentation and mortgage reports.
• Analysing property searches and raising enquiries.
• Preparing completion statements and invoices.
• Managing exchange of contracts, completion and post-completion formalities.
• Mentoring trainees, paralegals and admins.
• Developing junior team members and maintaining service standards.
