Job summary
360 Children's Residential Services is seeking a Senior Residential Support Practitioner to lead shifts and develop colleagues, delivering trauma-informed care that helps children thrive. This role involves supervisory duties alongside the management team and contributes to shaping the home’s culture and practice.
The position requires a Full UK Driving Licence, 2+ years’ experience with children in residential settings, and a Level 3 Diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Minimum 2 years' experience working with children and young people in residential setting
- Level 3 Residential Childcare Diploma (or equivalent)
- Experience leading shifts or supporting colleagues within a residential care environment
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children and young people
Responsibilities
- Lead shifts and supervise Residential Support Practitioners
- Support and develop colleagues and contribute to team development
- Deliver high-quality, trauma-informed care to help young people thrive
- Collaborate with management to shape and grow the home
- Support supervision and progression of staff where delegated
- Work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins
