Job description

We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Insights & Analytics, to support the Director, Insights & Analytics, with the performance and commercial measurement of our digital products, and to provide insights to support business growth.

The Insights + Analytics team is committed to sourcing and imparting the most relevant, objective, and compelling information on our brands’ performance across platforms, measured against our nearest competitors and the industry as a whole. Our natural curiosity and obsession for all things TV ideally place us to be the central information hub of Hearst Networks UK. Good quality and strategic insight will inform all future decisions in our business.

This is a permanent position. This role will be hybrid based in the London office, working on exciting, award-winning brands like Sky HISTORY and Crime+Investigation.

About Us

At Hearst Networks EMEA, we share stories that matter, inspiring and exciting our audiences with hit US franchises (The Curse of Oak Island, Pawn Stars), must-see docudramas (Royal Kill List and Colosseum), and original commissions (Sex: A Bonkers History with Amanda Holden, Royal Autopsy, Cops Gone Bad with Will Mellor). Over the past few years, we’ve championed our own original programming and relished in the successes of recent series such as The Unbelievable with Dan Aykroyd, Great Escapes with Morgan Freeman, The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard, and Royal Mob.

We welcome talented candidates with infectious enthusiasm who love what they do, and are ready to learn, develop, and thrive. Here you’ll find a community of innovative, creative, and inspiring people who aren’t afraid to embrace responsibility and try new things collaboratively, as a team.

We are a certified Great Place to Work with a can-do, motivated culture that believes in working to live, not just living to work. Every employee has a voice and is encouraged to be themselves and be ambitious. With offices in Rome, Madrid, London, Warsaw, Munich, and Johannesburg, we are a truly international organization that celebrates difference and diversity.

As an inclusive employer, we value the diversity of our teams and want our workforce to reflect our wider society. We encourage and welcome applications from people from under-represented backgrounds and are keen to make sure we are inclusive and accessible to all. Please let us know if you require any adjustments or assistance for meetings and communications when you apply for a role with us.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a key business partner to Commercial, Product, and Distribution teams, supporting the Director of Insights & Analytics in delivering strategic data-driven guidance.
  • Monitor and evaluate commercial performance, tracking progress against key KPIs while supporting the development and refinement of forecasts for Finance and senior leadership.
  • Lead performance measurement and reporting for digital products (e.g., SVOD, BVOD, DTC), delivering insightful weekly/monthly analyses that drive strategic decision-making and growth.
  • Manage and prioritize digital product-related queries from stakeholders across Marketing, Programming, and Finance, ensuring timely and data-backed responses to ad-hoc requests.
  • Enhance commercial insights for digital products, conducting deep dives into audience behavior, brand performance, and product trends to support ad sales, partnerships, and distribution strategies.
  • Collaborate with the wider Insights & Analytics team to advance cross-platform reporting, strengthen data capabilities, and contribute to key team initiatives.
Person Specification

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following key competencies:

  • Commercial acumen
  • Strong analytical mindset
  • Clear communication
  • Proactive and self-motivated

Please include a cover letter that outlines how you meet the minimum and/or any desirable requirements below with your application.

2-3 years’ experience working with commercial insights and analytics

Proven experience with subscription-based models (e.g., SVOD, music)

Understanding of business drivers and financial implications of strategic decisions
